Psalms 86-90 - Daily Summary

Hello! Today's episode is Psalms 86 to 90.

Psalms 86 - Of David. 

This prayer of David is a prayer of petition to God to hear his outcry, since David knows the Lord is good, he is forgiving and loving, his love endures forever to the wise. He is the Only God and David calls to Him since he knows the Lord always answers. David begs for mercy and faithfulness to his and our God.

Psalms 87 - Of the Sons of Korah. 

For the director of music. This short psalm is a psalm of praise to God for his Endless Glories. For He destroys the wicked, He destroys the offender and gossiper, but He saves the Wise, those who fear Him will be saved. 

Psalms 88 - Of Heman.

For the director of music. This is a psalm of petition to the Lord God for Him to hear the psalmist's cry for support for he is troubled and weak. Heman is overwhelmed with a bad situation, so he cries out to his God, the Lord to save him from destruction.

Psalms 89 - Of Ethan.

This very long psalm is a praise psalm about the Lord's endless love - His Love is everlasting, He is Worshipped for it, and He is also All Powerful, He destroys with wrath the evil, they have no respect for Him. The Lord however saves the wise - those who Fear Him. 

Psalms 90 - Of Moses.

This prayer of Moses is about the Israelites, and our, rebelliousness against God, they do not remember Him, so God has swept them away and they are replaced by a new generation - their children. Moses wanrs the Lord to give them, and us, hearts of wisdom.

I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
    with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
    through all generations.

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim.
