Proverbs 28 - Walkthrough
Hello! Since we will do proverbs twice today, here it is:
Verse 1: The wicked are terrified for nothing, but the righteous are bold.
Verse 2: A person of wisdom will succeed and should be chosen.
Verse 3: Do not oppress the poor.
Verse 4: Accept instruction, as it is wisdom.
Verse 5: The wicked does not know what is right, so seek the Lord, to understand it.
Verse 6: Better to be poor but innocent than rich but evil.
Verse 7: The wise will accept instruction and their parents will be proud.
Verse 8: Whoever greedily takes money will lose it.
Verse 9: You will not succeed if you reject discipline and wisdom.
Verse 10: The wise knows what is right and wrong, those who have true wisdom cannot be fooled.
Verse 11: Being wealthy but foolish is still a bad thing, as the wealthy proclaim themselves as wise, but are they?
Verse 12: People honor and love the righteous and their decisions, but they despise the wicked.
Verse 13: Confess your sins and gain mercy.
Verse 14: Surrender to God and accept Him.
Verse 15: Do not escalate the power of the wicked - they introduce harm.
Verse 16: The tyrannical will be destroyed, but those who gain earnestly are blessed.
Verse 17: The murderer will be punished, the offender charged.
Verse 18: The wise are safe, but the foolish will be punished.
Verse 19: The hardworking's possesions are abundant, unlike the lazy.
Verse 20: Be faithful in the Lord and be blessed, do not have greed.
Verse 21: Bias is detestable.
Verse 22: The greedy acquires wealth, but all their wealth departs from them.
Verse 23: Those who rebuke are wise, and the wise are honored.
Verse 24: Do nor harm your parents or relatives, for it is terrible.
Verse 25: The greedy begin conflict, but those who trust God stays our and prospers.
Verse 26: Do not trust yourself too much, but still use wisdom.
Verse 27: Be generous and do not neglect the poor.
Verse 28: The wicked starts conflict, the righteous starts abundance.

The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe,
but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit
