Today is Daniel 1,2 and 3. This is a new book we are covering.

Daniel 1 - 21 verses

This chapter is about how Daniel, one of the exiles, was sent to Babylon some others to become servants of the king, four of which were young    and wise, and those were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, better known for their Babylonian names. Daniel did not fall into sin by being sinful in another environment, we have to stay righteous to God.

Daniel 2 - 49 verses

This chapter is about one of the Babylonian kings, Nebuchadnezzar, who was an important figure in the books of 2 Chronicles and Kings, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and also Daniel. He had a troubling dream and his astrologers couldn't solve the meaning, after all they were astrologers, so they could not interpret it. Then the king was angry and wanted to kill all his wise men and then Daniel convinced one of his guard commanders to not kill them all until he could interpret the king's dream. Daniel did through God, who saved Daniel and everybody else, and the dream was interpreted. 

Daniel 3 - 30 verses

Then Nebuchadnezzar built an image of gold and set up everyone to worship it. This was very bad and idolatrous, we must only worship God. Daniel is not present in this story, but his three companions (Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego) were, and they refused, so Nebuchadnezzar threw them into a furnace. If we keep to be faithful to God, we will be saved, and in this story tthey were miraculously saved by God.

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim. Of course, we shouldn't even try to say "this is near the end times", this is misleading, none of us know when, and we cannot even say that it is vaguely soon.
