Ezekiel 25-27 - Daily Summary

Hello! Sorry that I had forgotten to write the past few days.

Ezekiel 25 - 17 verses

Most long prophetic books have certain things to say about the nations surrounding Israel, and so does Ezekiel, first of these nations being Ammon, who God promised to exterminate and destroy because of thir malice against Israel. God will judge the nations, and this chapter also speaks about the punishment of Moab and Edom, as well as Philistia, which will be a avenged for their sins.

Ezekiel 26 - 21 verses

This chapter and the one after it is about Tyre, a merchant city which was very rich and to some extent powerful, but also bery sinful, it was idolatrous, and had very strange rituals, including child sacrifice. God said that he would punish Tyre through a siege an dit would be destroyed. Now, in the present, Tyre is an irrelevant place.

Ezekiel 27 - 36 verses

This is also about Tyre, and is a lament, or a poem, because they (the Tyrians) thought they weere proud, and exchanged goods with people everywhere, as this chapter mentions, including Israel and Judah, but all their ships and pride will be destroyed and Tyre will be silenced and be no more. This is the fate of the proud and unfaithful, even if they are in this world, wealthy or succesful.
