Ezekiel 10-12 - Daily Summary

Hello! Sorry that I hadn't posted much yet, but from now on I think more is going to come.

Chapter 10

Chapter 10 is another miraculous chapter, (Ezekiel has many visions and the likes), and is where God's glory departs from the temple after the previous miracles (such as the man in linen's judgement in chapter 9). This chapter tells us about God's magnificence and glory (v 4,5). Many people usually interpret the appearance of angels from this chapter, but that's not very important.

Chapter 11

Chapter 11, again, is about judgement, where God comments about the wickedness of Jerusalem, that is violence and death (v6) and all other kinds. At first, Ezekiel thought God would completely destroy Israel, but he didn't, and he promised that Israel would return. God also has mercy in judgement.

Chapter 12

Here, God tells about the exile to Babylon in a symbol. Ezekiel went to another place as if he was being exiled. God tells Ezekiel to perform many "signs" like the one in the start about the illustration of Jerusalem and the symbolization of the siege. Ezekiel then brought his belongings and left Jerusalem. This was a sign of what would happen, there would be captivity. This chapter tells about God's judgement and faithfulness to himself (I mean like that what He wills will happen) (v 28)
