Ephesians 5 - Daily Summary

 Ephesians 5 is the second last chapter of the book of Ephesians. Here's a short recap on Ephesians 4: Ephesians 4 concludes its advice and gives instructions to Christians for a new, life that was born again. Ephesians 5 adds to these instructions.

We should follow the brilliant, flawless example of God as His loved children. If we want to follow His perfect example, we must walk in way of love - didn't Christ loved us so much he gave himself up? We should erase sin and defilation; immorality and impurity.

We cannot talk in obscene or vulgar language [a] and we cannot submit to idolatry. To live according to God, we mustn't sin by doing these things or having traces of greed, impurity, sexual immorality, or darkness. We were once dark but, in the Lord, we are now in light.

So be careful how we live. We must be wise and make the most of oppurtunities. We should not be filled by alcohol or foolishness but rather the Spirit and we should worship God. Christians live and interact in communties and there also must be instruction for Christian households and groups.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. We should submit to one another as we submit to the Lord. Wives should submit to their own husbands. As the church submits to Christ, a wife must submit to their husband.

Husbands also have their obligations such as loving their wives as Christ loved the church and love them as themselves. We should be loving to one another.

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim.
