Colossians 2 - Daily Summary

 Hello!

Let's do a brief recap on the end of Colossians 1 so we can relate it. The end of Colossians 1 talks about how Paul rejoices because he is suffering and working hard for Jesus and for His Body - the Church. Colossians 2's first five verses is continuing this idea. We should contend [a] for the church - and for the truth - and we should all have complete understanding of the mystery of God. 

It continues about spiritual fullness. We should receive Christ Jesus as our Lord and mature and strengthen in faith. Do not be captive of human thought but one of [b] Christ. In Christ we have been brought to fullness and we were raised inthe dead our faith in him. He has disarmed power and authority.

Therefore, we cannot judge what people observe (tradition), or even eat or drink. Do not judge whether he celebrates the Jewish holidays because these are mere shadows. Do not worship anything else, not angels [c] nor shadows of what is to come.

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim. Of course, we shouldn't even try to say "this is near the end times", this is misleading, none of us know when, and we cannot even say that it is vaguely soon.
