2 Corinthians 2 - Daily Summary
Hello! Here is today's summary on Second Corinthians 2:
The first section of 2 Corinthians 2 continues last chapter's topic about Paul's change in plan. Paul made up his mind to not make another visit in the end, since he might be saddened by the wickedness there. Paul is loving to the church, so he is offended when he sees evil in the church.
Paul tells us to forgive, however, just right after in the topic "Forgiveness for the Offender.". It tells us to forgive and comfort those who caused grief, rather than making him sorrow. We must be forgiving, and be forgiving to everyone. We should love one another, including our enemies or those who cause grief to us.
The final verses of the chapter is about his missionary journeys through Anatolia and Greece. It tells an amazing analogy that evangelizing is like spreading the pleasing, saving aroma of Christ to others. But we must spread this "aroma" with sincerity.
And that's all for today!
