The first part of 2 Corinthians 1 is the greeting that is repeated throughout Paul's letters to the various churches. Paul actually written this letter with the help of Timothy ( see 2 Corinthians 1:1). There is also a benediction for grace and peace in the greeting.

The second part encourages us to praise God who comforts us during our time of trouble and distress. We share some of the sufferings of Christ but our comfort also comes through Christ. If we are under stress, God can be our comfort and salvation. Paul had recently gotten into some trouble in Asia Minor snd almost killed, but he relied on God.

Paul also tells of his change of plan, specifically of route. Before he said he would go to Corinth a second time after passing through Macedonia, but he reversed the route to Corinth then Macedonia for his evangelical trips. That's all for today.

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim.
