Romans 15 - Daily Summary
Hello! Today's post is about Romans 15:
The first portion of Romans 15 continues last chapter's topic about strength and weakness in faith. Those whose faiths are strong shall not boast and help those with a weak faith. Jesus did not boast or please himself but sacrifice Himself! So teach one another and we should have the attitude of Jesus. Jesus' attidue is also one of acceptance of all nations and origins, including the Gentiles (non-Jews).
The second part of Romans 15 is about how God has chosen Paul to become the missionary and apostle to the Gentiles, and He gave his life as an offering to be accepted and sanctificed by God. God chooses and elects certain people to spread His word.
The final part of Romans 15 talks about Paul's plan to visit Rome again. He says he wants to so while travelling to Spain. Paul urges the Church in Rome to join him and pray for Him, as He is heading towards Jerusalem and Judea, a dangerous place for Paul.
Thank you for reafing!
