Ecclesiastes 4 - Walkthrough

Ecclesiastes 4 is the Ecclesiastic chapter of the day, titled Oppression, Toil, and Friendlessness.

The first part begins with how Solomon sees people that are being oppressed without any comfort. When Solomon saw this, he declared that death was better than life. Solomon thinks toil is meaningless from this. He then saw another thing meaningless: there was someone alone, without any friend or companion, and he was greedy.

Solomon agrees in socialization and being in groups, since they can help one another in bad times and defend themselves. Solomon attacks three things in the first part of Ecclesiastes 4 - Oppression, Toil and Friendlessness.

The second part of Ecclesiastes 4 reflects on how Advancement Is Meaningless, and is about how people will love a ruler who is wise but poor and young but be frustrated by one that, though maybe old or rich, is foolish,

That's all for today!
