1 Corinthians 7,8
Hello! Yesterday I skipped my chapter so I'll do two chapters today.
a. 1 Cor 7
Paul continues his rebuke on Corinth's sexual immorality problem by concrerning marriage and our obligationd once married. Paul says we should not have sexual relationships with anyone not our spouse and that we must fulfill marital duties.
Verse 10 and 11 says that a married person shall not divorce his/her partner. But if someone does divorce: that person shall not marry again, says Paul. Paul then tells us to stay in God's path and keep His commandments.
Paul also says that marriags, though not a sin, can bring trouble, so he says to the unmarried they do not Have to marry.
b. 1 Cor 8
This short chapter is a rebuke because of Corinth's sacrificing of food to the pagan idols and gods: This is a sin against Christ and we must know there is only one True God, and not obey idols of no existence.
