Weekly Sunday Sermon - N.T Revision

 Hello! Today's sunday school sermon was a revision of the New Testament in a game form. Today's topic is a bit short.

This is what the theme of the New Testament is, shortly: 

"How Jesus fulfills the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament.".

And He certainly did! The New Testament has many quotes from the Old Testament - more than two hundred times, in the books of the prophets they had mentioned Jesus' coming - in Isaiah 9:6, for example, it talks about Jesus. In Isaiah 53:5, it predicts His death and suffering for the sins of others.

This is the largest picture to describe the New Testament. This general theme shows us that God is faithful and all his promises are never "a chance to happen", but guranteed. Though this was the most general answer, my answer (because we were asked to answer before being shown the answer) was:

"The New Testament is all about Jesus, his life, works, and achievements, - that is, saving us by dying on the cross, and what we should do because/for Him, and warnings of Jesus' second coming like how it was promised in the Old Testament.".

As you see, I did mention the Old Testament, but it was only referring to His second coming. That's all for today!

People like to say "Jesus is coming soon", and it's incorrect: Argument Series #1

 Currently, a lot of people has reacted to the tension between the United States and Iran by saying "The end times are soon". Not only do they say this because of the "war", but also because of technologies such as artificial intelligence and Neuralink. In this post I want to challenge this claim.
