The Grace of God
Hello! A few days ago, one night I wrote a booklet called The Grace of God. Yesterday, I wrote it digitally and extended it, and this is the extended digitalized version:
The Grace of God - Extended, Digitalized
We see ourselves with too much righteousness. And I do too - badly. We uplift ourself and ignore our sins and point to others'. In actuality, however, we are not like this. We cannot see ourselves in righteousness, for we are rebellious. And here is why:
- The Lord has gave us His Son Jesus to be born a human, live a human life, and die just for others' wrongdoings.
- The Lord has given us many gifts to remember Him and praise Him, such as the Holy Spirit and the Church.
- The Lord should have already destroyed us from the beginning when we sinned, but instead, He had a plan of redemption of amazing grace beyond measure.
And yet, we do what He despises. We always act accordingly to what He hates and has clearly warned us against. Imagine being given so much by somebody just to oppose him. And this somebody in this analogy is the Lord God. And still, though we are this rebellious against Him and disobedient to Him, He forgives us. And it gets better - he also accepts his chosen ones, though they have also sinned countless times, for a eternal life in heaven.
So the fourth point of his endless love, grace and mercy is his forgiveness. I'll tell you an analogy: Imagine somebody, a person of power, a ruler in this analogy, gave you, who was rebellious to him, a high posiiton and many benefits and gifts. Then, you still rebel against him by protesting against him. Yet, he forgives you and gives you even more gifts, much greater than the gifts received before, and he does this every time you do what he doesn't want.
So, let us appreciate His great love, mercy, forgiveness and grace for us by thanking and praising Him, and avoiding the ugly thing called sin, which he hates.
