Psalms 96-100 - Daily Summary

Hello! Today's daily Psalms summary will achieve the Twentieth Episode of the series, the two third point, and cover Psalms 96, 97, 98, 99, and 100!

Psalms 96 - Likely of David.

This psalm is a great psalm about praise and worship to God. It encourages us to do something we really, don't do enough - worship the Lord God. For the Lord is worthy of it! He is the King of Kings, He has strength and glory like no other and He is Holy and His Judgement is the sound Judgement. So rejoice in the Lord!

Psalms 97 - Likely of David.

This psalm comtinues Psalms 96 with the theme of worship and praise, for the Lord reigns, so let us rejoice. He is righteous, let us proclaim it. But the Lord judges the evil, He judges the idol worshippers but loves the Righteous.

Psalms 98 - Unknown.

This psalm of unknown background is a psalm of praise too, thanking the Lord for special salvation and radiant righteousness. He is Faithful to his promises, not one of them He does fulfill - His faith is fabulous. So, shout for joy to the Lord and worship Him, for He will judge the peoples of the earth with absolute justice.

Psalms 99 - Of David.

This amazing psalm is also a praise psalm! It praises God for His Power and Worthiness of Praise. It also praises God for one of the other frequently mentioned but sometimes forgotten aspect of the Lord: His Justice and Wisdom that we sometimes do not remember. The Lord gives His chosen ones salvation and guidance.

Psalms 100 - Of David.

We're entering the triple digits now! Psalms 100 is yet another praise psalm - the sixth psalm in a row to do this (Psalms 95,96,97,98,99,100).  Though repetitive, we must remember the Lord is worthy of infinite praise. Psalms 100 is a psalm of praise in thanksgiving and gratefulness for the Lord's Love and Faithfulness.

That is Psalms 96 up until Psalms 100! Thank you for reading. The verse highlighted below is Psalms 100:1.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. - Psalms 100:1, King David
