Psalms 66-70 - Daily Summary
Hello, today's fourteenth episode is about Psalms 66 to 70.
Psalms 66 - Of David.
This psalm is for the director of music, Asaph, and is a glorious psalm of praise to the Lord that exalts Him for his power, glory, and justice. He is not only all powerful but He is also loving and king, He loves those who Fear Him.
Psalms 67 - Of David.
For the director of music, Asaph. This psalm is a benediction-like psalm, blessing us so the Lord may be gracious and that you may prosper from God's blessings. It is a short psalm.
Psalms 68 - Of David.
For the director of music, Asaph. This psalm is about God and is also a psalm of praise. God scatters His enemies for they are evil, He eliminates those who do not fear His Name. The Lord loves those who are disadvantaged and those who are wise. He is above All Nations, so Praise be to Him!
Psalms 69 and 70 - Of David.
For the director of music, Asaph. This is similar to many other of the psalms of plead, about the psalmist crying out to the Lord to save him though he is guilty of sins. David prays God to not uproot him and to answer his prayer. He also pleads the Lord to bring ruin on the wicked, whom He detests. Psalms 70 is also a petition to the Lord to do similar things, for he is in a bad situation where conspirators want to take his life.
That's all! Thank you for reading.
