Psalms 61-65 - Daily Summary
Hello! Today's daily post of Psalms, the thirteenth episode:
Psalms 61 - Of David.
For the director of music, Asaph. This psalm is a psalm of plead to the Lord about the psalmist, David, crying out to the Lord for David to take refuge in Him and also giving thanks to the Lord for his protection.
Psalms 62 - Of David.
For the director of music, Jeduthun. This psalm is a wonderful psalm that reminds us that the Lord is the ultimate and unchangeable fortress. When the wicked attacks us, we can be shielded by Him, and our sul finds resrs in Him, He gives us salvation, he is all powerful and rewards the wise.
Psalms 63 - Of David.
This was written by David when he was traversing the Desert of Judah. He reminds us that though he is in a desert of little warer and he is thirsty, he does not fear, for he knows the Lord shields him and that he can always cling to his God.
Psalms 64 - Of David.
This psalm reminds us that the Lord listens to all our prayers and cries. When the wicked curse at you and hurt you, the Lord will destroy them, but the righteous will not be like the fools, the upright will not fall the same fate as the wicked - instead, they will prosper, for they love the Lord.
Psalms 65 - Of David.
For the director of music, Asaph. This is a psalm of praise to God, since He answers all the prayers He receives, He forgives our terrible sins and our ugly trespassss, He has saved us and delivered us from destruction, He cares for us and those who honor His Name.
