Psalms 6-10 - Daily Summary
Hello! This is Psalms 6-10:
Psalms 6: Of David.
This psalm was for the Director of Music, (which is, Asaph) and is about a character begging the Lord to give him peace and deliver him from chaos, and from stress and from the influence of the wicked. It is similar to Psalms 4&5.
Psalms 7: Of David.
This psalm is concerning a man named Cush from Benjamin. Cush is likely a relative of Saul who was an enemy of David. David begs the Lord to deliver him from his enemies again and wanting Him to enact justice.
Psalms 8: Of David. For the Director of Music
This psalm is a psalm of worship and praise. It praises the Lord for His Creation, Glory, and Majesty and all he has done for us. It is a short psalm.
Psalms 9: Of David.
This psalm is a psalm of thankfulness. It thanks the Lord for his mercy and deliverance, his grace and gift. It is also a psalm of praise and hope.
Psalms 10: Unknown.
This psalm is hoping the Lord to judge and destroy the wicked, which he will and must do. The psalmist points out how the wicked does evil things and unacceptable actions and wants the Lord to judge them and destroy them.
