Psalms 46-50 - Daily Summary

Hello! Psalms 46-50, the tenth continuation of the series and the thirdway point:

Psalms 46 - Of Korah's Sons.

This psalm of the sons of Korah is a beautiful psalm expressing the Lord's love for us. God is our refuge and strength always there in calamity, He is with those who He favors and exalts them, for they are righteous.

Psalms 47 and 48 - Of Korah's Sons.

This psalm is a psalm of praise. It praises the Lord for His power over the earth and how He is above all the kings of nations and all human rulers. He also loves us and cares for those who Fear Him. Psalms 48 has a similar theme of praise.

Psalms 49 - Of the Sons of Korah.

This psalm starts with a question, asking the reader, "Why should I fear when there is evil?". However, this psalm assures that evil, even if they have power, wealth, or strength, will be destroyed and will perish, but the upright will stay and never rot. Wealth without wisdom is nothing.

Psalms 50 - Of Asaph.

This psalm is a psalm of praise to the Lord because of His justice. It says that He will bless those who fear and love Him and those who honor and obey Him. He will bring them safety and prosperity. However, God detests the wicked and their dishonest deeds, for they are wicked and do not obey Him.

That is Psalms 46,47&48, 49, and 50! Thank you for reading.
