Psalms 121-125 - Daily Summary

Hello! In the twenty fifth episode of the Daily Psalmistic Series will cover five amazing psalms - Psalms 121 until 125.

Psalms 121 - Of David.

Meant to be sung by two people. This psalm is a worship psalm of thankfulness to the Lord since He watches and cares over you at all times, He guards you from harm and never slumbers nor sleeps, but He loves His people.

Psalms 122 - Of David.

This psalm is a praise psalm of worship to God. Since David wrote this, he mentions Jerusalem as a place of worship and praise to God, where everybody goes to exalt the Lord's Name, but now, we may praise His Name anywhere.

Psalms 123 - Of David.

A praise psalm. This teaches us with a metaphor in the first stanza, reminding us that the Lord is merciful upon us - we are very sinful and so are our surroundings, but the Lord loves us and is merciful upon us. This is a very short psalm.

Psalms 124 - Of David.

This brief praise psalm about thankfulness. David knows if the Israelites, or we, were not accompanied by God, we would be engulfed and destroyed by destruction and evil. So Praise the Lord because of His help - the help from the Maker and Controller.

Psalms 125 - Of David.

This psalm shows us that the wise will never be shaken but they endure forever and their foundation is solid. The Lord surrounds and keeps His people, He guards them from collapse, calamity, and catastrophe. He will so good to those are good and wise.

That's all! Today's unique verse, Psalms 121:2:

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth

Verse Reflection: Help and assistance is given by God, who created, saved, and loves us.
