Proverbs 27 - Walkthrough
Hello! Sorry that yesterday I had posted no daily proverb, so i will do an additional one today, so today is Proverbs 27 and 28. Let us begin the twenty seventh episode!
Proverbs 27 is the Further Proverbs of Solomon, more proverbs written by King Solomon collected by the officials of King Hezekiah.
Verse 1: Do not boast about your future, what do you know? Anything may happen.
Verse 2: Do not praise yourself, let others do that for you, for doing so is an act of boasting.
Verse 3: Fool's words are terrible, do not put them into your decision.
Verse 4: Anger and fury are terrible, but the cause that is even worse than them is jealousy.
Verse 5: Rebuke others and accept rebuke, so others may improve, and you may.
Verse 6: True friends rebuke and change your actions for the better, but enemies prevent that.
Verse 7: The poor man is grateful and appreciative, but the rich man is not cheerful.
Verse 8: Do not put yourself in danger.
Verse 9: A friend's advice is great, and a sign of true friendship, and shows their pleasantness.
Verse 10: Do not forsake a relative of friend, so when disaster strikes, you may be treated with hospitality.
Verse 11: Be wise so you can answer the doubtful, and be wise so you can distribute wisdom to the unwise.
Verse 12: When the wise see danger, they take refuge and it is strong, but the foolish get destroyed.
Verse 13: Do not befriend with the new; do not bond with a stranger without knowing him or her.
Verse 14: Do not be lazy and do not be idle, instead be hardworking.
Verse 15,16: Do not bond with the quarrelsome, why start conflict? Restrict conntections with those who love strife.
Verse 17: When you see someone doing a mistake, help him and point out his mistake.
Verse 18: The loyal will be honored, they will be rewarded for their actions.
Verse 19: Survey someone's actions and decisions carefully and you can examine their heart.
Verse 20: The foolish are never satisfied, they continue their desire for destruction.
Verse 21: The honored are the wise people, that is one way how you may see who is wise.
Verse 22: Even when you rebuke, even when you correct them, the fools will not budge, their folly is glued to their hearts.
Verse 24-27: Examine something carefully and care over it, do you may fluorish.
