BCN Series - Part 3: Music

 Hello! This is the final third of the BCN series, where I will discuss 3 songs from BCN and their lyrics. I will use both English and Indonesian lyrics (I personally translated the English lyrics). You should read Part 1&2 first.

Let's look at the english lyric songs first, then the original Indonesian ones, then discuss each of the song's meanings:

3. Ku Rindu Hidup Suci/ I Want to Live Holy

Now, let's discuss the meanings of all three songs: with Ku Mengasihi Tuhan dan Sesamaku, it is actually the song for BCN 2019, which topic was named that. It means "I Love God and Others", which are two important commandments from the Bible. Also, it has 2 other used terms: to love Injilnya, his gospel, and Hidup Suci, live holy.

In Ketuk, it uses the same idea as all of BCN: You must open your heart to Jesus when he is "knocking" at your heart's door. "Ketuk" means knock in English.

In Ku Rindu Hidup Suci, the main song for BCN 2023, means "I Long to Live Holy" in English. In 2023, a holy life means a life of connection with God. This song expresses what a holy life is, and that you should resist temptation and read his scripture and be near him.
